Expands

The Highway 43 location of Weagant Farm

Supplies is undergoing major changes as the

company prepares to cover the expanded New

Holland territory of Russell and Carleton

counties. Weagant will be stocking new New

Holland combines and large articulating trac-

tors to serve the farmers of Eastern Ontario.

According to Ault Van Bokhorst, sales man-

ager of the firm, “This is our re-entry into the

combine business. Our previous experience

in the combine market gave us the expertise

to succeed in this field. We intend to be a

driving force in eastern Ontario for combines

and high horse power tractors and we invite

people into the dealership to discuss their

future needs.”

New Salesmen Join Firm

Weagant Farm Supplies and Topline Trailer

and Equipment Sales have each hired a new

sales person to promote the products of the

company and they look forward to the new

members joining a winning team.

Mr. Mike Roosendaal will be working from

the Highway 43 location specializing in New

Holland tractors and equipment as well as

all of the other lines of machinery sold by

Weagant Farm Supplies. Mike brings experi

ence to the company from his former employ-

ment with a major equipment company.

Mr. Brently Summers will be working from

the Topline Trailer and Equipment Sales store

on Highway 31. Mr. Scott Weagant, manager

of the store looks forward to sharing the load

of selling Kubota tractors and trailers with

this young and eager salesman. Mr. Summers

will complete his formal education in April

of this year and commence his new roll soon

thereafter.

New Holland Leads

Biodiesel Industry

New Holland won ‘The Innovation Award’

from the Biodiesel Board in February 2007 for

pioneering the use of Biodiesel fuels in farm

equipment. New Holland, in 2006, approved

the use of 20 percent biodiesel (B20) in all of

its equipment using New Holland engines. It is

the first Original Equipment Manufacturer to

announce full support of B20 in all of the die-

sel engines that it produces. New Holland has

been advocating its use in their equipment for

almost a decade. In 2003, New Holland was

the first large farm equipment company to

join the Biodiesel Alliance that connects the

widespread support base for biodiesel. New

Holland also awarded use of its tractors to

the nation’s two top recruiters of the Biodiesel

Alliance. Come into Weagant's and test drive

a new New Holland tractor and set up your

farm on biodiesel.

and Topline Trailer and Equipment Sales, is

dealer and we know tractors and equipment,”

claimed Dave Van Moorsel, parts manager of

the Highway 43 location of the firm. “We

specialize in filling agricultural needs. Many

competitors try to keep a little bit of every-

thing and not enough of the right spare parts,

but we have what farmers need.”

IPM Plowing Match 2007

The 2007 edition of The International Plowing Match and Country Festival will be held

this year near Crosby, Ontario, just west of Smiths Falls from September 18th –22nd.

The theme of the match is ‘Sowing Seeds, Growing Dreams’

This is the largest event ever to be staged in Leeds-Grenville County according to Rob

Prosser, chair of the event and 80,000 persons are expected to pass through the gates.

A host of exhibitors and entertainers will be on hand sowing their seeds to grow your
